CoinEx Charity’s Starlink Program Lands in Benin, Connecting Students to a “Network of Knowledge”
The CoinEx Charity Starlink Program has been successfully implemented at the National Water Institute (INE) of the University of Abomey-Calavi in Calavi, Benin. In early February, CoinEx’s representative in Benin, Mérèx, conducted on-site research and discussions with the INE Student Union to assess the challenges posed by limited internet infrastructure. By early March, all necessary Starlink satellite internet equipment had been delivered and installed, enabling campus-wide free internet access. On March 29, a formal inauguration ceremony was held, featuring blockchain and crypto education sessions to help students better understand Web3 technologies and applications. The project combined both infrastructure support and educational empowerment, benefiting over 100 students and faculty, and providing strong support for the university’s digital transformation and youth development in the region.
