Disposal of Non-USDT Assets
Starting from 02:00 on September 29, 2026 (UTC), non-USDT assets held in user accounts will be processed according to the following rules:
- Assets with liquidity in external markets: The platform will, based on actual circumstances, dispose of such assets in external trading markets and convert them into USDT based on the net proceeds from the actual sale. The corresponding USDT will be returned to users’ spot accounts. The platform will process these assets in batches during the withdrawal period and will not issue separate announcements for each batch.
- Assets with no liquidity in external markets: The platform will gradually delist such assets and will no longer maintain the relevant wallets. If users hold such assets, please withdraw them to an on-chain wallet before this time. Afterward, the platform will no longer assume responsibility for the custody or redemption of such assets.
- Asset disposal records: After asset disposal is completed, users’ account balances and transaction history will be updated accordingly. Users may check the results of the relevant asset disposal through their account balances and transaction history.
If you wish to withdraw assets in their original form, please make sure to complete the relevant operations before 02:00 on September 29, 2026 (UTC). After that time, the platform will gradually proceed with the disposal of remaining assets according to the process described above.

Withdrawal Deadline

Before the withdrawal deadline, CoinEx will continue to provide withdrawal services, which will not be affected by the orderly cessation of other services. Users are strongly advised to complete withdrawals as early as possible. As some blockchain networks may experience congestion, changes in transaction fees, or longer confirmation times, please plan your withdrawal schedule accordingly and avoid making concentrated withdrawal attempts close to the deadline.
Platform Cessation Arrangements
- After the withdrawal period ends, any USDT assets that have not been withdrawn will be transferred by the platform into independent custody. Pursuant to Clause 5.3 of the CoinEx Terms of Service, after the termination of the account relationship, users shall withdraw the assets they hold on CoinEx within 90 days, namely by December 22, 2026. For assets not withdrawn by the deadline, the platform will charge custody fees in accordance with the relevant agreement and this announcement. The custody fee will be charged monthly at 5% of the original asset balance as of the end of the withdrawal period.
- Users may submit claims through the official email address (support@coinex.com), in accordance with the claim procedures to be announced by the platform subsequently. During the claim process, users may be required to complete identity re-verification and other necessary security reviews.
- The deadline for custody claims is August 22, 2028. Any relevant assets that remain unclaimed by that date will be disposed of in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and relevant procedures.

VIII. Final Words
CoinEx officially launched on December 22, 2017. Nine years later, on that same date, the platform closes. We grew from a small team of engineers into a global exchange serving tens of millions of users. Along the way, we experienced the highs and lows of this industry together — bull markets and bear markets, uncertainty, and everything in between.
For some of you, CoinEx was your first crypto trade. For others, it was a platform you relied on through different stages of the market. However you used it, what you entrusted to us was never just assets. It was your trust, and we didn't take that lightly.
To the CoinEx team: crypto never sleeps, and neither did you. For nine years, you kept the systems running, supported users, and built this platform's story. Whether you were here for 3 months or 9 years, thank you.
And to everyone who traded with us, thank you for choosing CoinEx and being part of this journey.
