1. Project introduction
Starcoin is a blockchain project architected in a layered fashion and designed for distributed finance, which is inspired by Facebook's 2019 Libra release. Starcoin is the industry's first public chain project to support the Move ecosystem.
Starcoin inherits Bitcoin's superior security mechanism and provides the ability for high transaction throughput by improving the PoW algorithm and introducing a multi-tier network.

Token application:
(1) Paying the GAS fee of the transaction.
(2) Paying the state space fee (after the future state billing mechanism is activated).

Token distribution：
5%: About 159,256,800 STC tokens for distribution to early investors.
8%: About 255,129,390 STC tokens, the linear withdrawal right with a release cycle of 3 years, belongs to the Starcoin Foundation and is used for ecological construction.
7%: About 222,641,010 STC tokens, the linear withdrawal right with a release cycle of 3 years, belongs to the Starcoin Foundation and is used for core project development.
80%: Lock the withdrawal rights of the treasury into the DAO, and future withdrawals from the treasury can only be done through on-chain governance.
